Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 'considering' Liverpool exit

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is understood to be entertaining the idea of leaving Liverpool, with Arsenal among the sides tipped to try and sign him.
The 28-year-old has not started a Premier League game since the opening weekend and, despite the nasty injury to fellow midfielder Harvey Elliott, has managed just eight minutes of league action across the last six games.
It's a continuation of his struggle for minutes from last season, in which he recovered from a serious knee injury to start just two of a possible 27 Premier League games.
According to The Mirror, Oxlade-Chamberlain is growing concerned that regular minutes may never be an option at Anfield and, while he would prefer to stay at Liverpool, he is aware that leaving the club may be his only option.
The 28-year-old is keen to play more football and force his way back into the England setup while he still can, and he fears that he may have to leave Liverpool to achieve that goal.
Should the midfielder hit the market, former employers Arsenal could reach out over a potential deal.
The Gunners did bring in Albert Sambi Lokonga in the summer but were keen to sign a second midfielder as well, having seen links to Lyon's Houssem Aouar and Wolves' Ruben Neves ultimately amount to nothing.
Klopp is reluctant to let Oxlade-Chamberlain go as he values his impact as both an off-field presence and an impact player, but with 18 months remaining on his contract, those in charge at Anfield may look to cash in now while they still can.
The boss has been told that he must sell players before he can buy new ones, and while he may want to keep Oxlade-Chamberlain, he may take the chance to sell his eighth-choice midfielder.
Fabinho, Thiago, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, Jordan Henderson and James Milner are all confident of earning more minutes that Oxlade-Chamberlain, while young Elliott will also move above him in the pecking order when he makes his return from an ankle injury.
