Liverpool have recalled left-back Owen Beck from his loan with Dundee FC as the Reds search for a solution to their injury issues in the position.

The Reds have lost both Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas to nasty injuries in recent months and, with no senior left-back on the books, have been forced to use centre-back Joe Gomez out on the left side of defence.

To boost their numbers, Liverpool have now recalled 21-year-old Beck from his loan in Scotland's top flight.

"Owen will be greatly missed by everyone at Dundee FC as he has been outstanding both on and off the field," a Dundee statement read.

"We would like to thank Owen for all he has given to Dundee FC and we wish him all the very best for the future. Owen will always be welcomed back in Dundee and at the Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park."

Beck made 20 appearances for Dundee, racking up two goals and two assists, and even earned his first call-up to the Wales national team in October as a reward for his excellent performances.

The youngster has two appearances for Liverpool to his name, both of which came as late substitutes in the 2021/22 Carabao Cup.

Elsewhere, 90min understands Liverpool have made contact with Fulham over United States international Antonee Robinson as Jurgen Klopp searches for some senior cover at left-back.

26-year-old Robinson, who is under contract with Fulham until 2028, is understood to be open to moving to Anfield if the two sides can agree a fee.
