Liverpool have to find a way to put Tuesday night's Champions League thrashing at the hands of Real Madrid out of their mind as they returnto domestic action this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp will take his Red to London to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League, hoping to build on recent consecutive wins over Everton and Newcastle.

Here's a look at the starting XI the Liverpool boss could pick.

Liverpool predicted lineup vs Crystal Palace (4-3-3)

GK: Alisson - Conceded more goals in 90 minutes on Tuesday night than he has done in his last 360 minutes of Premier League action.

RB: Trent Alexander-Arnold - Started to look more his usual self against Newcastle last weekend with only his second Premier League assist of the season.

CB: Joel Matip - Could replace Joe Gomez after the Englishman went off injured against Real. Ibrahima Konate is also still out.

CB: Virgil van Dijk - By his own admission, overturning that aggregate deficit in the Champions League is 'impossible'.

LB: Andrew Robertson - The assist train from the left hasn't slowed down as much as Alexander-Arnold, but it's still none in the Premier League in 2023.

CM: Stefan Bajcetic - Has continued to establish himself in the starting XI, with his chances only boosted the longer Thiago stays sidelined.

CM: Fabinho - Not at his best this season and needs to recapture his form of old.

CM: Jordan Henderson - Experience and leadership are crucial qualities at a time like this.

RF: Mohamed Salah - Still shy of 10 Premier League goals this season after only one his last seven league games. But he did have a hand in both Liverpool goals in midweek.

ST: Cody Gakpo - Admitted this week that he likes playing in the central role because it means he sees more of the ball in the game.

LF: Darwin Nunez - Will be looking to have a better night against Palace than he had in August.
