Liverpool do not intend to sell Mohamed Salah or Alisson this transfer window, despite emerging interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, sources have confirmed to 90min.

The Reds have already raked in just over £50m from Saudi Arabian sides this summer following the sales of Fabinho to Al Ittihad and club captain Jordan Henderson to Al Ettifaq.

Salah has consistently been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in recent months, though his agent has previously moved to play down such talk of a possible move.

90min understands that intermediaries connected to the league's PIF-owned clubs - Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ahli and Al Ittihad - have recently made contact with not only Salah's representatives, but those of goalkeeper Alisson too.

However, they did not receive any encouragement that either player would be willing to move to Saudi Arabia at this time.

Salah and Alisson are both happy at Liverpool and are not seeking to leave Anfield at this moment.

The two stars both joined the Reds from Roma, with Salah signing in 2017 and Alisson arriving on Merseyside a year later. Together, they have won every trophy available to them at club level.

Though Liverpool are expected to keep hold of Salah and Alisson, they have missed out on the signings of midfielders Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.

Caicedo completed his switch to the Blues from Brighton & Hove Albion at the start of the week, while Lavia is expected to be unveiled as their newest player shortly after a £58m fee was agreed with Southampton.
