Liga MX has announced the 25 players set to face Major League Soccer in the All-Star match, with Alexis Vega, Kevin Alvarez and Alvaro Filadgo headlining. 

For the second consecutive season, MLS All-Stars will face the best of Liga MX, this time on August 10 at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota. 

Liga MX first revealed their initial 14-player roster in June, including those that made the shortlists for the Ballon d’Or and best of the 2021/2022 football year. The league has now confirmed the additional 11 players set to play, with one more left to be announced by Liga MX president Mikel Arteta. 

Willian Tesillo and Andre-Pierre Gignac were slated to participate in the event, but have since been replaced by Matheus Doria and Juan Dinenno due to injuries.
