Tottenham Hotspur will continue their pre-season preparations with a match against Championship side Leicester City in Thailand this weekend.

The friendly was initially arranged when the Foxes were in the Premier League and before their surprise relegation from the top flight.

Since then, Spurs have signed James Maddison and Leicester have taken Harry Winks, with the East Midlands side taking home a net profit of around £30m.

Goalkeeper Mads Hermansen may start for the first time following his move from Brondby. Several players with plenty of Premier League experience are likely to get some minutes here.

Harvey Barnes' move to Newcastle is expected to be announced prior to Sunday's clash.

Ange Postecoglou used two different XIs for the two halves of their 3-2 loss to West Ham in Australia on Tuesday.

Tanguy Ndombele sat out with a knock, while Son Heung-min, Eric Dier, Djed Spence, Joe Rodon and Harvey White were not involved after only just returning to training.

Ryan Sessegnon recently underwent surgery on his hamstring and has remained in England with Rodrigo Bentancur, who is working his way back from an ACL injury, and want-away club captain Hugo Lloris. Bryan Gil and Fraser Forster picked up minor injuries shortly before the team jetted off to Perth.

Enzo Maresca has been given a second chance to prove his worth as a head coach, while Postecoglou is beginning to win Spurs fans over with his entertaining style and no-nonsense soundbites.

It should make for an entertaining game and one which is likely to end with Tottenham winning.
