Liverpool are going to be in action against Leicester City on Sunday morning UK time and they will be looking to get some crucial preparation in before the Premier League action gets underway.

Liverpool have been focusing heavily on German opposition with their two friendlies so far coming against Karlsruher and Greuther Furth. Goals were not in short supply, with the Reds winning the first game 4-2 and then drawing 4-4 with Greuther Furth. The fans in Singapore could be in for a treat if results carry on in the same vein.

Darwin Nunez has been the major star so far as he netted three times across those two games. He will want to show why he is the main striker at Liverpool this season after having a campaign to settle in.

Here is all you need to know about Leicester vs. Liverpool in Singapore on Sunday.

Liverpool team news

There are quite a lot of injuries and absentees to worry about for Liverpool before their first game in Singapore. Jordan Henderson has now gone to Al Ettifaq, and Fabinho has stayed behind as he is close to joining Al Ittihad.

Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic were not fit enough to travel, while right-back Conor Bradley also had to stay at home due to an injury. That could push Trent Alexander-Arnold into midfield and see Joe Gomez play at right-back. There was an ankle concern for Dominik Szoboszlai which saw him miss the last game but he should play against Leicester.

Leicester team news

There are also injury concerns for Leicester ahead of their Championship campaign getting underway. Having signed Conor Coady, he could not make the trip to Singapore thanks to a foot injury he picked up in the last friendly.

Jamie Vardy, Wout Faes and James Justin all have knocks that could keep them out against Liverpool but they are not ruled out just yet. Beyond that, the Foxes will have the rest of the squad available to choose from.

Leicester vs Liverpool score prediction

Even with many of their midfield options not currently in Singapore, Jurgen Klopp's side has to be the overwhelming favourites to win this one. They have got so much firepower in that team, with the front six players all having goals in them.

Leicester will be missing some important players and they are a team undergoing a major transition after their Premier League relegation. It would be really impressive if they did anything other than lose this one.

Prediction: Leicester 0-3 Liverpool
