Chelsea can leapfrog Arsenal at the WSL summit for the first time this season with a win over Leicester at the King Power on Sunday.

With the Gunners' clash with Tottenham postponed due to Covid, Emma Hayes' side can take advantage of their title rivals' weekend off and move a point clear of the north London outfit should they come out on top against the Foxes.

Chelsea face a Leicester side who they beat 7-0 when the pair met in the FA Cup in February. The Blues were given a helping hand following Sophie Howard's harsh dismissal in the first half; Lydia Bedford admitted she only re-watched the first 17 minutes when the two sides played 11 against 11, with Chelsea unable to break the Foxes down prior to the red card.

Chelsea team news

Emma Hayes confirmed that Fran Kirby and Pernille Harder are both out for Chelsea, with the latter given some extra time off by the Chelsea boss to regain some freshness following a hectic schedule.

The Blues will be fresher than expected going into Sunday's fixture, having had Wednesday evening's clash with Tottenham called off late in the day due to Covid cases in the Spurs camp.

Leicester vs Chelsea predicted lineups

Leicester: Harris; Purfield, Plumptree, McManus, Howard, de Graaf; O'Brien, Tierney, Pike, Gregory; Flint.

Chelsea: Musovic; Charles, Carter, Eriksson, Bright Reiten; Ingle, Ji, Cuthbert; Fleming, England, Kerr.

Leicester vs Chelsea score prediction

Lydia Bedford has transformed Leicester into a much more robust, disciplined side during her time in charge - but they have still tended to come unstuck against the real top sides in the WSL.

The Foxes gave a good account of themselves prior to being reduced to 10 players against Chelsea in the pair's last encounter, but even without the class of Kirby and Harder up top, the Blues should still have enough quality to comfortably see them to victory.

Prediction: Leicester 0-3 Chelsea
