Brentford, meanwhile, pulled themselves further clear of the relegation zone with a 2-0 win over Burnley last time out.

Wesley Fofana made his first Foxes appearance of the season in the 2-1 defeat in Rennes after Caglar Soyuncu failed a late fitness test ahead of the trip.

Rodgers is also sweating over the fitness of Marc Albrighton after the winger limped off with a groin problem inside 12 minutes, while Wilfred Ndidi is a doubt with a knee problem.

Brentford team news

Josh Dasilva will complete the last of his three-match ban after his red card against Newcastle last month.

Thomas Frank will also be without long-term absentee Tarique Fosu, as well as defender Julian Jeanvier.

Leicester vs Brentford score prediction

Last weekend's 2-0 win over Burnley lifted Brentford eight points clear of the relegation zone, meaning the Bees can begin to plan for a second season in the top flight of English football.

Leicester, meanwhile, find themselves in mid-table purgatory, and it will not be lost on Rodgers that his side are in league action during FA Cup quarter-final weekend, the trophy which they lifted last May.

Results have marginally improved for Leicester in recent weeks, although expect their Achilles heel to flare up again at set pieces against this Bees side.

Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Brentford
