Leicester team news
There may not have been any bodies through the door quite yet, but Leicester did part ways with their long-time goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel on the eve of the season. Danny Ward experienced some difficulties with his knee at the end of July but is expected to line up as Leicester's number one this weekend and beyond.
Both Harvey Barnes and Ricardo Pereira went down injured in Leicester's final preseason friendly against Sevilla. While Barnes' knee strain isn't thought to be too severe, Rodgers worryingly admitted Pereira's problem "doesn’t look good”.
Hamza Choudhury and Ayoze Perez are both likely to be available this weekend after illness while Wesley Fofana may well shrug off a slight groin issue.

Brentford team news
Two of Brentford's back-three for their first-ever Premier League match last year have already been ruled out of a repeat appearance this Sunday. Kristoffer Ajer is aiming for a return from surgery on his hamstring in mid-to-late August while Ethan Pinnock "won't be ready for the start of the season, or the first part of the season", according to manager Thomas Frank.
The club's first-ever Premier League goalscorer Sergi Canos is also unlikely to feature after picking up a hamstring injury during a preseason camp.
Brentford predicted lineup vs Leicester
Brentford Starting 11: Raya; Hickey, Jansson, Mee, Henry; Janelt, Norgaard, Jensen; Mbeumo, Toney, Lewis-Potter

Leicester vs Brentford score prediction
Five places and six points separated these two clubs last season as they swirled around the top and bottom reaches of mid-table.
Leicester won both meetings 2-1 by taking their chances more efficiently than their west London opponents, a trend that carried across the whole season as the Foxes recorded the highest conversion rate in the division (14%).
While a finishing hot streak is nothing to rely upon, the Foxes have the personnel to produce another victory against Brentford - they certainly don't have any new recruits fighting for a starting place.
Prediction: Leicester 2-1 Brentford
