Leicester City welcome Southampton to the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Foxes have lost just one of their last 12 matches at home across all competitions and have kept seven clean sheets from Southampton's last nine visits to the east Midlands.

Here's the XI Brendan Rodgers may send out for the club's final match of the season.

Kasper Schmeichel (GK) - Leicester's number one was dropped last weekend for 'the health of the group' according to Rodgers. For his own personal well-being, the Foxes manager swiftly restored Schmeichel to the lineup in midweek.

Timothy Castagne (RB) - Most players that come out of Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta have a layer of versatility but Rodgers has severely tested Castagne's flexibility this term, fielding the Belgian in at least five different positions.

Wesley Fofana (CB) - The much-missed centre-back has only won one of his six Premier League outings since returning from a horrendous fibula fracture.

Jonny Evans (CB) - It was the experienced Northern Ireland international that alerted his teammates to the potentially historic nature of their 2019 trouncing against Southampton when the score was just 6-0.

Luke Thomas (LB) - For the first time in his budding career, Thomas has made more than 20 Premier League starts in a season.

Nampalys Mendy (DM) - In the continued absence of Wilfred Ndidi, Mendy is set to retain his spot at the base of midfield.

Marc Albrighton (RM) - With Youri Tielemans' fitness uncertain while he recovers from a clash of knees, Albrighton may be drafted in out wide while James Maddison lines up more centrally.

James Maddison (CM) - Leicester's leading goalscoring across all competitions has found the net in each of his three previous outings in the Premier League.

Kiernan Dewsbury Hall (CM) - The former Shepshed Warriors youth team player has played his way up the footballing pyramid, jumping from League One to the Championship and now a regular in the Premier League across the last three years.

Harvey Barnes (LM) - In his last three games, Barnes has either scored or created five top-flight goals.

Jamie Vardy (ST) - No Premier League player with more than one start this season has a better minutes per goal ratio than the ruthlessly efficient Vardy, finding the net every 122 minutes he's been on the pitch.
