The big headline from the Leicester camp is that Rodgers will be without star man Youri Tielemans. The midfielder remains sidelined with a calf problem and will not return until the middle of next month.

Once again Ricardo Pereira could miss out after picking up an injury in training, while James Justin and Wesley Fofana are still recovering from long-term knocks.

Legia Warsaw team news

Former Southampton, Celtic and Bournemouth stopper Artur Boruc has a back injury and will not play.

There is also bad news for any Leicester fans hoping to catch a glimpse of former Fox Bartosz Kapustka. Signed in 2016 to much fanfare he was really seen at the King Power Stadium and will not play here either, as he is injured.

Leicester vs Legia Warsaw predicted lineups

Leicester vs Legia Warsaw head-to-head record

The only time these two sides have met previously was on matchday two where Legia triumphed 1-0, thanks to a first-half strike from Mahir Emreli.

Leicester spent the majority of the game struggling to break down their hosts' stubborn resistance, although things could have ended differently if Ayoze Perez and Jannik Vestergaard had converted two absolute sitters.

Leicester vs Legia Warsaw score prediction

Group C is finely poised and Leicester know that anything less than three points would likely see them exit the Europa League at the group stages this season.

In ordinary circumstances the Foxes should be able to get the job done without too many difficulties. However, something has been very wrong at the King Power Stadium this season, so do not expect Rodgers' charges to make light work of Thursday's opponents.

Ultimately though, Leicester's superior resources should be enough to edge them over the line, potentially setting up a mouth-watering final matchday showdown with Napoli.

Prediction: Leicester 2-1 Legia Warsaw
