Leicester's Champions League bid continues at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening, when the Foxes take on Brighton.

The Foxes remain third after the first weekend of Premier League action since the enforced break, while Brighton have begun to put distance between themselves and the relegation battle below them – a 2-1 win over Arsenal seeing the Seagulls move five points clear of the drop zone.

Brighton will be without Jose Izquierdo, as they have been all season, with the winger still out with a knee injury – but otherwise have a fit and firing squad available.

Predicted Lineups

Leicester: Schmeichel, Justin, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Ndidi, Albrighton, Tielemans, Maddison, Barnes; Vardy.

Brighton: Ryan, Schelotto, Webster, Dunk, Burn, Propper, Bissouma, Gross, Mooy, Trossard; Maupay.

Recent Form

With only one game under each team's belt following the Premier League's restart, there's not much recent form to go on. Leicester returned with a 1-1 draw against Watford, a result they'll be disappointed with, but Brighton hit the ground running on their return with that win over Arsenal.

Leicester's excellent early season form had begun to fade away just before the league was suspended, so the break may have done the Foxes a favour.

Prediction

With Leicester dropping points at the weekend, the Foxes will be eager to make sure they get the job done on Tuesday against a tough Brighton side who are looking like they'll remain a Premier League fixture.

Both teams will have a lot to play for, but Rodgers' men should be able to see off the Seagulls and continue to put some distance between themselves and fifth-placed Manchester United.

Prediction: Leicester 2-0 Brighton
