Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Kylian Mbappe has signed a new contract with the club.

The Frenchman's previous deal was set to expire this summer and he has been aggressively courted by Real Madrid in the last year.

Los Blancos had been confident that a mammoth deal for the 23-year-old had been agreed, but PSG's confidence that Mbappe would remain at Parc des Princes grew in recent days.

And the Ligue 1 champions confirmed on Saturday that Mbappe has signed a new contract in the French capital that will run until 2025.

Mbappe is 32 goals away from becoming PSG's all-time leading scorer and has a great chance of overtaking Edinson Cavani next season.

Real Madrid meanwhile shift their attentions back to next week's Champions League final with Liverpool.
