Napoli are still reeling from the loss of talisman Victor Osimhen to the fractured cheekbone he sustained in his side's 3-2 defeat to Inter in November.

Andrea Petagna, Eljif Elmas, Hirving Lozano and Kevin Malcuit are the members of the Napoli party who have tested positive for Covid-19, while Mario Rui is suspended.

Luciano Spaletti was also without Lorenzo Insigne and Fabian Ruiz in the defeat to Spezia last month, while Kalidou Koulibaly and Zambo Anguissa have jetted off to the African Cup of Nations.

Juventus vs Napoli head-to-head record

Matches between these two sides have been decided on the flip a coin recently, with Juventus having won their last three in a row against Napoli in Turin heading into this midweek.

Napoli edged their meeting in the Coppa Italia final in June 2020 on penalties, and they downed the Bianconeri in the reverse fixture this season back in September thanks to a late Koulibaly headed winner.

Injuries have undermined Napoli's Scudetto push after a promising start to the campaign, while Juventus are beginning to show signs of recovery after a wretched opening few months of the season.

Home advantage should play a significant part this midweek and Juve will be hoping to make it a scrappy affair in midfield.

Expect a low scoring contest, with Allegri's men to edge it.

Prediction: Juventus 1-0 Napoli
