Juventus 4-1 Torino: Report, Ratings and Reaction as Juve Destroy Local Rivals
Juventus managed to extend their Serie A winning streak to seven in their hunt for a ninth consecutive Scudetto, destroying rivals Torino 4-1 in Saturday's Derby della Mole at the Allianz Stadium.
The Bianconeri needed just two minutes to break the deadlock. Paulo Dybala danced his way through the Torino defence and struck a deflected effort past the hapless Salvatore Sirigu.
Torino clawed one back right before half-time as Matthijs de Ligt handled inside the area, Andrea Belotti thundered the resulting penalty past Gianluigi Buffon. Dybala came out firing on all cylinders, dancing past two Toro defenders before opening the scoring. Ronaldo then got on the act, unselfishly setting up Juan Cuadrado for his goal before scoring a sublime free kick in the second half.
Maurizio Sarri has come under fire for his inability to secure cup competitions this term, though no one can deny Juve's dominance in the league. The champions extend their lead to seven points atop Serie A, taking a massive leap toward the Scudetto.
