Juventus have had their 15-point deduction in Serie A overturned, taking the Italian giants up to third with 59 points.

A new trial will be called to further clarify the capital gains controversy, leaving the FIGC Federal Court of Appeal to re-evaluate.

Juve were accused of false corporate communications, false communications to the stock market and obstruction of watchdog agencies. The clubs offices were raided by CONSOB - the finance regulator responsible for monitoring club dealings on the stock exchange - in November 2021 to seize documents relating to the transfers under scrutiny.

The points deduction has been revoked, meaning Massimiliano Allegri's side now have a great chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

AC Milan and Inter, due to face off in the final four of this year's tournament, drop down to fifth and sixth respectively in the Serie A table. Top spot is off the table with Napoli expected to secure the title imminently, but the Bianconeri could steal second from Lazio with a good run of form.

The investigation saw the entire Juventus board - which included Andrea Agnelli and Pavel Nedved - resign late last year.
