Juventus were thrashed by Milan in Sunday evening's potential Champions League qualification shootout, losing 3-0 to a blistering Rossoneri side in Turin.

The first half was a cagey affair, but it exploded into life in injury time, when Brahim Diaz collected the ball on the edge of the box, cut inside and curled an unstoppable pearler into the top corner.

Milan were offered the chance to double their lead when Giorgio Chiellini handled in the box, but Wojciech Szczesny guessed the right way and parried Franck Kessie's spot kick. Juventus tried to respond to this lifeline, but were rocked on 78 minutes when substitute Ante Rebic sent a curling thunderbolt into the top corner.

Things went from very bad to ridiculously terrible for Juve on 82 minutes, after Fikayo Tomori leapt highest to nod home a free-kick, giving Milan an incredible three-goal advantage, from which I Bianconeri had no hope of recovering.

For Andrea Pirlo's men, their Champions League qualification hopes are now out of their hands, and are hanging by a thread.

Let's check out the player ratings.

JUVENTUS PLAYER RATINGS

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Wojciech Szczesny (GK) - 6/10 - At fault for the opening goal, coming out and punching but with no real authority and straight to Diaz, who finished clinically. Redeemed himself with a brilliant penalty save. Little chance with either goal after.

Juan Cuadrado (RB) - 5/10 - Tormented by the raw pace of Hernandez. Once the Frenchman was away, Cuadrado was not catching him. Weak challenge let Diaz cut inside for the first goal. Never got to grips with the game and looked nothing like a defender on the night.

Matthijs de Ligt (CB) - 6/10 - Prevented Calhanoglu after a stray pass allowed Milan in behind. Offered out the rough stuff to Ibra. Good to see. Crumbled as the visitors rubbed salt into the wounds.

Giorgio Chiellini (CB) - 5/10 - Missed a great chance from a corner. Stretched with all his might but couldn't head Diaz's shot away from the top corner of the net, and Juve were behind. Arm outstretched when conceding the penalty. Showing his years.

Alex Sandro (LB) - 5/10 - Brilliant recovery header to stop Ibrahimovic opening the scoring. Offered precious little going forward - something he was famous for in the past. Pulled apart in the second half as Milan went for blood.

2. Midfielders

Weston McKennie (RM) - 5/10 - Never looks as dangerous playing in wider areas, and couldn't lay a glove on Hernandez defensively, nor make any threatening moves forwards. Not suited to that system.

Rodrigo Bentancur (CM) - 5/10 - Hesitated a split second too long and allowed his shot to be blocked. Fired low at the start of the second half, but Donnarumma was up to the task. Subbed with little impact.

Adrien Rabiot (CM) - 4/10 - It's a challenge finding different things to write about Rabiot's performances, to be honest. Just looked tired and a whole second off the pace compared to the others.

Federico Chiesa (LM) - 4/10 - Struggled to get beyond Calabria, and ended up running the ball out of play a couple of times. Rash challenge gave Milan a free kick, and they punished the Italian. Booked for another clumsy tackle.

3. Forwards

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - 5/10 - An anonymous first half. Lost out in a foot race which could have seen him go through on goal. Not there when Juve needed him most. What next?

Alvaro Morata (ST) - 5/10 - Quiet first half, but produced a cheeky flick to free Bentancur in the box at the start of the second half. Extremely subdued throughout the game.

5. Goalkeeper & defenders

Gianluigi Donnarumma (GK) - 7/10 - Came flying out of his goal and got away with it. Few shots to save in the first half, but called into action early in the second. Job done.

Davide Calabria (RB) - 8/10 - Dogged and determined performance, stunting the main threat in Chiesa. Crunched by the winger, but lived to tell the tale. Back to his best after injury.

Simon Kjaer (CB) - 8/10 - Produced a brilliant covering slide tackle to deny Ronaldo from racing through. Marshalled the Portuguese forward and Morata expertly and didn't let the forwards out of his sight.

Fikayo Tomori (CB) - 9/10 - Another commanding evening for the Englishman. Looked in control against Morata and Ronaldo, limiting chances to a premium. Headed home powerfully to humiliate the hosts. Enjoyed himself.

Theo Hernandez (LB) - 8/10 - Ripped past Cuadrado and crossed towards Ibrahimovic, but Sandro got his head in the way. A live-wire and a force of nature when he gets going. Ruthless.

6. Midfielders

Brahim Diaz

Ismael Bennacer (CM) - 8/10 - Always reading Juve's passes to cut their lanes and retain possession. Such an intelligent player. Forced Milan forward and kickstarted a move which almost led to a second goal.

Franck Kessie (CM) - 7/10 -
A hard-working performance. Broke up the attacks, and got Milan moving. Not often he misses a penalty, but Sunday was the day.

Brahim Diaz (AM) - 8/10 - Fired a strike from the edge of the box, but Szczesny smothered well. Stunned the game into life with an inch-perfect curling belter which hit the top corner.

7. Forwards

Alexis Saelemaekers (RW) - 7/10 - Won the free kick which led to the goal. Clever play. Never stopped running and performed the defensive duties with gusto.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (ST) - 6/10 - A quiet first half in terms of scoring chances, but put himself about and made life difficult for the two centre-backs. Picked up an injury midway through the second half and had to be substituted.

Hakan Calhanoglu (LW) - 8/10 -
Danced around, trying to nip inside and play one-twos with teammates. Unable to get on the ball as much as he'd have liked. Acted as a decoy for the powerhouse Hernandez. Improved after moving centrally late on. So valuable to this team.

8. Substitutes

Ante Rebic

Ante Rebic (ST) - 8/10 - SUPER SUB! Unleashed a dipping, swerving thunderbolt from outside the box which left Szczesny completely stunned. What a goal!

Rade Krunic (CM) - 7/10

Soualiho Meite (CM) - 7/10

Diogo Dalot (RM) - 6/10
