Jordan Pickford has won the Castrol Save of the Month award for January 2024 thanks to his fantastic save to deny Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo at Craven Cottage.

Pickford was in inspired form in January, earning two nominations for the Save of the Month thanks to his stops to deny Fulham's Tosin and Aston Villa's Leon Bailey.

It is the former of those saves that has earned Pickford the award, with the Everton number one producing a stunning save at Craven Cottage to help his side to another shutout. The Everton stopper was met with Tosin Adarabioyo's header, pushing the ball over the crossbar with an acrobatic leap to his right.

This is the second time that Pickford has won the Castrol Save of the Month award, last winning it in September 2022 with a similarly miraculous stop in a 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

The England number one is the third goalkeeper to have won the award on two separate occasions, joining fellow Three Lions Nick Pope and Aaron Ramsdale in achieving the feat.

Pickford has won the Castrol Save of the Month ahead of Newcastle United's Martin Dubravka, Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez and Chelsea's Djordje Petrovic.
