Joao Felix has revealed that he is keen to play with Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai at Barcelona in the future.

Szoboszlai joined Liverpool from RB Leipzig during the 2023 summer transfer window for £60m, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal at Anfield, and has immediately become a firm favourite.

The midfielder has started all 14 of Liverpool's Premier League games so far this season, scoring one goal and catching the eye with his creativity and guile on the ball.

Szoboszlai's form has also caught the attention of Barcelona loanee too Joao Felix too. Speaking in to Spiler TV, Felix picked the Hungarian as a player he'd love to see join Barca one day.

"Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai. I like his game, I think he can play here one day," he said.

Felix is currently on loan at Barca from Atletico Madrid and, after a disappointing start, has found form in recent weeks. The forward was the star of the show against his parent club Atleti at the weekend, scoring the only goal in a crucial La Liga win at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

Speaking recently to RAC1, Barcelona sporting director Deco revealed the club's intentions to sign Felix on a permanent deal during the 2024 summer window: "It is early. But of course we are already thinking about it. We see how the season is going.

"There is no doubt that we want to have them next season, because they are good for the squad. We are happy with their performance. How? We’ll see, these are discussions for later."
