Indian Super League (ISL) side, Odisha FC on Monday announced the signing of defender, Narender Gahlot from Jamshedpur FC ahead of the 2022/23 season with the youngster signing a three-year deal which keeps him at the club till 2025.
Gahlot who joined Jamshedpur from Indian Arrows in 2019, quickly established himself as a key player for the club, playing a key role in their Hero ISL 2021-22 League Winners’ Shield triumph - where he made 15 appearances.
While he majorly came off the bench for the majority of the games, the 21-year-old did impress with his skills and technicality on the ball alongside Peter Hartley in the backline under manager Owen Coyle - while playing a total of 844 minutes last campaign, where he made 33 clearances, 26 tackles, 15 interceptions, and 10 blocks.

"Narender brings a lot of quality and a winning mentality to our backline. As a young center-back, he has a lot of potential and we hope that he plays his best football for Odisha FC. We would like to welcome Narender to the Juggernauts," Odisha president, Raj Athwal said on his signing.
