Indian Super League (ISL) side, Kerala Blasters FC confirmed on Wednesday that they had reached an agreement to sign Bryce Miranda from Churchill Brothers for an undisclosed fee, with the winger signing a multi-year deal that keeps him at the club until 2026.
Miranda who came through the youth system in Mumbai went on to have a short stint with Union Bank FC before joining FC Goa's developmental team in 2018. A year later, he joined Income Tax FC where he had a breakout season, scoring three goals and providing 10 assists in the 2019 Elite division.
His brilliant performances for them saw the winger sign for Goan I-League team, Churchill Brothers FC, despite interest from a number of ISL and I-League clubs. In his 33 appearances for them, Miranda s seen as an integral part of the Goan side - with the youngster scoring two goals and registering four assists for them.
"It feels amazing to join Kerala Blasters. It is a club that I have wanted to be a part of for a while. It has the best fans in the country. I can’t wait to be in Kochi and meet my new teammates and play in front of The Yellow Army," Miranda said on signing a deal with Kerala Blasters FC.
Bryce will join his fellow team-mates in Kochi at the start of the preseason, and his signing will no doubt strengthen their squad as they look to build for the upcoming ISL season.
