ISL: Jeakson Singh signs contract extension with Kerala Blasters till 2025

Indian Super League (ISL) side, Kerala Blasters FC on Monday announced that midfield star, Jeakson Singh had signed a three-year contract extension with them, thereby extending his stay with the club till 2025.
Singh who was promoted to the senior team by then Kerala Blasters head coach, Eelco Schattorie in 2019, came of age in the last edition of the competition where he made 22 appearances in all competitions for the club.
In fact, the 20-year-old is now one of the first names on the team sheet and has been tipped as a future superstar by many.

“I am delighted to continue my association with this amazing club, which I consider very close to my heart. I thoroughly enjoyed myself playing for Kerala Blasters in the past three seasons and I am very grateful that I will be able to continue donning the yellow shirt," Singh said on his contract extension.
“Last year we came very close to creating history but missed it in the end. I hope to achieve success with the club in the coming seasons," he added.
The defensive midfielder was impressive last season, registering 84 tackles, 38 interceptions, 32 blocks, and 20 clearances in the defensive department while also scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Singh becomes the latest player to extend his contract with the Kerala Blasters joining the likes of Sahal Samad, Rahul KP, and Bijoy Varghese in extending their deals as the club management look to build towards the future.
