Indian Super League (ISL) side, Hyderabad FC on Wednesday confirmed the signing of full-back, Manoj Mohammed on a three-year deal, with the youngster set to stay with the Nizams till the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
Mohammed is a full-back who is capable of playing on either side of the pitch, and has the required experience to play for Hyderabad, considering that he has gathered loads of experience in the I-League, having started his career with the East Bengal academy at a young age.
“I am really happy to sign for this club at this stage of my career. I can’t wait to get on the pitch and I promise to give my best in every training session and in every game,” Manoj said on signing for the current ISL champions.
The 23-year-old also played for Mohammedan SC in the I-League, for whom he made 29 appearances and played a crucial role in their second place finish in the 2021-22 I-League campaign.
It will be interesting to see how the youngster develops under the tutelage of Manolo Marquez - who is widely considered as one of the best managers in the league.
