Indian Super League (ISL) side, FC Goa on Tuesday confirmed the signing of Moroccan-American, Noah Sadaoui with the winger leaving AS FAR, the winner of Morocco’s Throne Cup to move to India and play for the Gaurs.

It was reported that the club were extensively searching for a replacement for Jorge Ortiz, who left the Gaurs late last season for Chinese League One club, Sichuan Jiuniu. The club's director of football, Ravi Puskur looked far and wide and eventually settled on Sadaoui as the ideal player for them.

"It's all done now. Sadaoui has already secured a release from the club and signed the contract with Goa. The club would be delighted to have pulled off this signing," a report in Times of India stated.

The Moroccan player is expected to fill the void Ortiz left. The former winger scored eight goals in 15 games in addition to completing five assists, making him the “most impressive player in last season.”

The 28-year-old had recently published a story on social networking site, Instagram - posting a picture of the FAR team had taken during the Throne cup, captioning it with the heartwarming message; “Thank You and wish you all the best!”

Sadaoui brings in a lot of experience with him, having played in a number of countries including Morocco, United States, Honduras, South Africa, Israel, Egypt and Oman in the past.
