Inter host Fiorentina on Wednesday, knowing they'll need Juventus to slip up during the final weeks of the season if they are to have any chance of winning Serie A.

Sunday's draw with Roma was a missed opportunity for the Nerazzurri following Juve's draw with Sassuolo, with the gap currently standing at five points - though Inter have played a game more. They'll also need to overcome an in-form Atalanta, but Lazio - who face Maurizio Sarri' side on Monday

They'll also need to overcome an in-form Atalanta, but Lazio - who face Maurizio Sarri' side on Monday - are probably out of the title picture after going four games without a win.

Fiorentina, meanwhile, have had a difficult season, but a run of five games without defeat has seen La Viola climb up the table to 12th.

Here's 90min's preview of the game.

Team News

Stefano Sensi, who hasn't played since January due to a bicep muscle injury, remains unavailable.

Fiorentina will be without Marco Benassi, whose calf injury has kept him out of four straight games, but otherwise they have a squad with a clean bill of health.

Predicted Lineups

Inter: Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Candreva, Gagliardini, Barella, Young; Brozovic; Sanchez, Martinez.

Fiorentina: Terracciano; Milenkovic, Pezzella, Caceres; Chiesa, Ghezzal, Pulgar, Castovilli, Lirola; Kouame, Ribery.

Recent Form

With only two wins from their last five Serie A matches, Inter have dropped points when they really couldn't afford to - seeing an equally inconsistent Juventus pull ahead in the title race. Antonio Conte's men have enjoyed a 6-0 win over Brescia and a 4-0 win over SPAL since the start of July, though, showing how dangerous they can be when they're firing on all cylinders.

Fiorentina's form has seen a significant uptake recently, and they're unbeaten in their last five Serie A matches - notching up wins over Parma, Lecce and Torino in that time.

Prediction

Inter's Serie A title race may be run, but Antonio Conte's side will keep pushing until it is mathematically out of their hands.

Beating La Viola would have been easier feat around a month ago, but Fiorentina's recent resurgence has raised confidence levels and shown how badly they had been underperforming.

That said, Inter should have far too much quality if they play to the best of their ability - and the goals could flow, if recent results are anything to go by.

Prediction: Inter 3-1 Fiorentina
