Inter have set an €80m asking price for Milan Skriniar this summer, as Paris Saint-Germain step up their pursuit of the defender, 90min understands.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a successful five year spell at I Nerazzurri, having joined the club from Sampdoria for €20m. In the last two seasons Skriniar has won both a Scudetto under Antonio Conte and a Coppa Italia under Simone Inzaghi during the 2021/22 campaign.

His performances has led to plenty of interest in his services, with 90min reporting last week that Paris Saint-Germain were at the front of the queue of interested parties having lodged a bid for the central defender.

90min now understands that personal terms have been agreed between Skriniar and PSG, but Inter's valuation of the player could prove to be a sticking point for any deal. The Slovakian is also happy to stay at San Siro if a move to Paris Saint-Germain does not materialise.

If it does come to fruition, Inter are keen to bring in Torino's Gleison Bremer as Skriniar's replacement. The Brazilian defender is highly-rated, winning the Serie A Best Defender award for his performances during the 2021/22 season.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has previously confirmed the club's interest in the defender, saying: “Gleison Bremer is a world-class defender who would be useful for many top teams. Surely, we are interested in him.”

Bremer has plenty of interest from elsewhere as well. 90min reported this week that Torino president Urbano Cairo has dispatched sporting director Davide Vagnati to England in the hope of creating a bidding war for the defender.

He is expected to meet with officials from Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham - all of whom are in the market for a centre-back but are currently assessing other options.
