Simone Inzaghi's Inter host his former side Lazio at San Siro in Serie A on Sunday evening.

Since losing 3-1 to his previous employers in mid-October, Inzaghi has led the Nerazzurri on an 11-game unbeaten run in Serie A (W9 D2), winning their last seven outings on the spin.

Here's the XI Inter may deploy to extend that title-winning form.

Inter predicted lineup vs Lazio - Serie A

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Stefan de Vrij

Samir Handanovic (GK) - With Ajax's Andre Onana set to arrive in Milan next summer, Inter's veteran keeper may not be the undisputed number one for too much longer.

Milan Skriniar (CB) - One of the two straight red cards Skriniar has received in his career came against Lazio - incidentally when they were managed by his current coach.

Stefan de Vrij (CB) - With spells in the Italian capital and Inter under Inzaghi, no manager has afforded the calming Dutch centre back more minutes than the 45-year-old (8,209).

Alessandro Bastoni (CB) - Inter's hugely talented 22-year-old hasn't lost a Serie A home match since May 2020 - and even then he was sent off against Bologna while the score was 1-1.

2. Midfielders & wing backs

Denzel Dumfries (RWB) - Initially eased into the fold after his summer arrival, Achraf Hakimi's replacement has started the last five league matches, scoring three times in his past four outings.

Nicolo Barella (CM) - Serie A's leading assist provider (tied on seven with two other players) created 15 chances in his first six appearances of the season, but has only carved open 14 opportunities in the subsequent 11 outings.

Marcelo Brozovic (CM) - The only outfielder to start every Serie A game for Inter this term has surprisingly been allowed to enter the final six months of his contract with the club, even if Inzaghi is confident about an extension.

Roberto Gagliardini (CM) - Not a regular member of Inter's established midfield but may be granted a fourth league start with Hakan Calhanoglu's availability in doubt.

Ivan Perisic (LWB) - Inzaghi's indefatigable and utterly reliable wing back has netted two of Inter's league-high 12 headed goals this season.

3. Forwards

Joaquin Correa (ST) - The 'victim' of one of Serie A's most bizarre red card altercations this term when his former teammate and holiday companion Luiz Felipe playfully jumped on Correa after the final whistle of the reverse fixture with Lazio. Neither Correa nor the referee saw the funny side and Felipe was dismissed in tears.

Lautaro Martinez (ST) - Enjoying the form of his career, Lautaro is averaging a goal or assist every 82 Serie A minutes this season.
