Reigning Serie A champions Inter resume domestic action on Saturday evening, as they host Bologna on matchday four.

Simone Inzaghi's men head into the game having just been beaten for the first time this season. Rodrygo's late strike gave Real Madrid a 1-0 win in their Champions League opener in midweek, although that came after I Nerazzurri had begun their league season with wins over Genoa and Verona and drew with Sampdoria.

They face a Bologna side who have also bagged seven points from the first three matches.

To get back to winning ways and continue a solid start to the domestic season, here's the lineup Inzaghi could opt for on Saturday.

Samir Handanovic (GK) - Entering his tenth season as an Inter player and is still firmly the club's undisputed number one between the sticks.

Milan Skriniar (CB) - An absolute rock in Inter's back line, the Slovakian is a crucial part of the side and will be a guaranteed starter for the visit of Bologna following a good performance against Real Madrid.

Stefan De Vrij (CB) -
Has played every minute of the season so far and should be in line to continue in the starting lineup on Saturday.

Alessandro Bastoni (CB) -
Returned to the Nerazzurri lineup in midweek and slotted back in with ease. Following that impressive display, Bastoni should retain his place here.

2. Wing-Backs & Midfielders

Denzel Dumfries (RWB) - A toss up between Dumfries and Matteo Darmian, Inzaghi has a choice to make here. The latter started against Los Blancos on Wednesday night, so the Dutchman could come in for his first start for his new club.

Nicolo Barella (CM) -
Has continued his brilliant Euro 2020 form into the new season, thus far registering an assist in each of Inter's three Serie A fixtures. A sure starter.

Marcelo Brozovic (CM) -
Managed 33 league appearances as Inter lifted the Scudetto last campaign, and should continue to be a key part of the side at the heart of midfield, having played brilliantly on Wednesday.

Hakan Calhanoglu (CM) -
Struggled against Real but has generally started life on the blue side of Milan well, notably notching a goal and an assist on his debut earlier in the season.

Ivan Perisic (LWB) -
A fantastic servant to the football club, Perisic has racked up over 200 appearances for Inter.

3. Forwards

Lautaro Martinez (ST) - Hooked off early in the second half against Real Madrid, Martinez should be raring to go and looking to build on two league strikes in two games at the weekend.

Edin Dzeko (ST) -
The experienced and intelligent striker is still a threat to his opposition, and will aim to add to his goal and assist in Serie A thus far.
