Inter predicted lineup vs Napoli - Serie A

First meet second in Serie A as Inter travel to face Napoli looking to retain top spot after last weekend's disappointing Derby della Madonnina loss.
Inter tasted defeat in the league for just the second time this campaign when Olivier Giroud's second-half brace left the Nerazzurri rueing a spate of missed chances in the opening 45 minutes.
However, they offered an impressive riposte in midweek when they downed Jose Mourinho's Roma to seal their place in the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.
Here's how Inter could line up for their trip to Naples.
Inter predicted lineup vs Napoli - Serie A
1. Goalkeeper & defenders
Samir Handanovic (GK) - Didn't cover himself in glory as he failed to stop Giroud's winner in the derby last weekend.
Danilo D'Ambrosio (CB) - An impressive deputy in the Inter backline whenever Inzaghi's trusted central defensive trio break down with injuries.
Milan Skriniar (CB) - A hugely dominant defender, equally capable of operating either at the heart of the Inter backline or on the right.
Stefan de Vrij (CB) - Will be keen to produce a strong performance after he was perhaps spun too easily by Giroud for the winning goal.
2. Wing-backs & midfielders
Denzel Dumfries (RWB) - Brings a specialty to the wing-back role, with Inzaghi encouraging him to join Dzeko and Martinez in attack.
Nicolo Barella (CM) - Offers dynamism in midfield, just as comfortable receiving off the defence as breaking into the final third.
Marcelo Brozovic (CM) - Has excelled in the deep-lying midfield role over the years.
Hakan Calhanoglu (CM) - Proven a shrewd addition after he turned down a new contract across the city in the summer.
Ivan Perisic (LWB) - The arrival of Robin Gosens - who is currently injured - from Atalanta has cast fresh doubt on the Croatian's future at the club. His contract expires in the summer.
3. Forwards
Edin Dzeko (ST) - The former Roma striker is proving to be every bit as effective as Romelu Lukaku, the man who he replaced in the summer.
Lautaro Martinez (ST) - Impressed in the first half of the Derby della Madonnina before Inter pulled on the handbrake in the second period.
