Inter Miami return to action this weekend for their first-ever contest against Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place.

Gerardo 'Tata' Martino's side are fresh off a 1-0 triumph over D.C. United last weekend thanks to Leo Campana's stoppage-time effort to seal the late victory for the Herons. The win saw Miami extend their unbeaten run to seven consecutive matches, with six victories and one draw during the team's solid run of form.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced that the popular trio of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez were not traveling for the match. Martino will have to alter his lineup with the former Barcelona trio out for the match.

Here's how the Herons could lineup Saturday evening.

GK: Drake Callender - The USMNT goalkeeper starts in between the sticks for Miami after keeping a rare clean sheet.

RB: Marcelo Weigandt - Weigandt starts in defense once more as he's the only true right-back in the squad.

CB: Tomas Aviles - After a tough encounter vs Christian Benteke, Aviles could have his hands full in a different kind of matchup vs Ryan Gauld and Brian White.

Serhiy Kryvtsov - Kryvtsov slots into the XI after Nicolas Freire's recent knee injury and could see a hefty does of minutes in the upcoming matches.

LB: Jordi Alba - The veteran full-back is all set to make his second consecutive start since returning from a hamstring injury.

CM: Julian Gressel - Despite the last few lackluster showings from Gressel, the ex-Columbus Crew player gets another chance in the middle of the park.

CM: David Ruiz - Ruiz slots into midfield filling in for the absent Sergio Busquets.

CM: Benjamin Cremaschi - The 18-year-old will look to get into the final third and contribute in the attack while Busquets stays back to protect the defense.

LW: Robert Taylor - The biggest miss will of course be no Lionel Messi. Taylor will come into the side on the left.

ST: Leo Campana - Despite there being no Suarez, Campana was a game-changer against D.C. United. He'll lead the line against Vancouver.

RW: Matias Rojas - The Paraguay international will hope to be among the goals again after blanking his last two matches.
