The full list of Inter's current wage bill for the 2020/21 campaign has been released, revealing Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen to be the joint-highest paid players at the Milan club.

I Nerazzurri have increased their expenditures since last year, bringing in a string of high-profile signings in order to boost their chances of toppling Juventus from Serie A's perch. Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal, Achraf Hakimi and Aleksandar Kolarov are among a series of big names to have put pen to paper in the summer, lifting Inter's wage bill to an incredible €149m a year.

And it comes as little surprise, given Antonio Conte's desperation to become the top dogs in Italy. Last year's top goalscorer Lukaku tops the list with an annual salary of €7.5m, tied with January purchase Eriksen. The Danish midfielder has failed to prove his value to the same levels of his Belgian partner, who looks to be worth every penny following his arrival from Manchester United in the summer of 2019.

Fellow ex-Red Devil Alexis Sanchez is third on the list, with Inter paying €7m to him, while Vidal earns €6.5m a year. There is then a considerable drop of €1.5m to the next highest earner, who is former Real Madrid star Hakimi. The wing-back is tied alongside the un-shiftable Ivan Perisic on €5m, while the similarly problematic Radja Nainggolan takes homes €4.5m a year.

Unbelievably, star striker Lautaro Martinez appears extremely low on the list, picking up €2.5m annually - less than Ashley Young and the aforementioned Kolarov. Talented centre-back Alessandro Bastoni sits as the joint lowest-paid outfield player with Roberto Gagliardini on €1.5m, and the unreliable Andrea Ranocchia pips them on €1.8m.

Much-sought after defender Milan Skriniar receives €3m a year, while recent Premier League target Matias Vecino puts a dent of €2.5m in the wage bill.
