An entire nation will grind to a halt once the 2022 World Cup gets underway. For Wales, sporting events like this don't come around often.

The Euro 2016 semi-finalists will compete in just their second World Cup in Qatar and their first since 1958 after they qualified for the tournament via the play-offs following an impressive qualifying campaign.

Every Welsh supporter will tune into their group stage fixtures at the tournament, with S4C set to provide comprehensive coverage of the Qatari World Cup for Welsh speakers.

Wales 2022 World Cup games on TV

It was never going to be easy, but Wales did it. Rob Page guided the Dragons to their first World Cup since 1958.

Page's boys finished second in their qualifying group behind Belgium which meant they progressed into the playoffs. The group stage draw had already taken place by the time they took on Ukraine for a spot in the tournament which meant Wales knew that England, Iran, and the USA were awaiting them in Group B.

A 1-0 victory over Ukraine sealed their fate, and the Dragons will be determined the upset the odds this winter.
