After failing to qualify for the first time in eight editions in 2018, the United States will be competing in their first World Cup since reaching the tournament's last 16 in 2014.

Representing over 300 million residents at home, the USMNT kick off their campaign in Qatar on 21 November and will look to better their last two appearances in which they were knocked out at the round of 16.

Supporters will be able to follow their progress on TV, with FOX Sports and Telemundo Deportes broadcasting games in English and Spanish respectively, while a selection of other platforms will be live streaming the tournament.

United States 2022 World Cup games on TV

As the second-best ranked nation in CONCACAF, the United States were granted a bye into the confederation's third qualifying round, which consists of a group of eight sides - the continent's top five nations joined by three of the first round's six group winners (determined via a play-off).

In that group, Canada and Mexico finished level on 28 points to sail into the World Cup, while the USMNT had to rely on a superior goal difference to finish above Costa Rica and claim the last automatic qualification spot from North America.

Gregg Berhalter's men have been placed in a competitive-looking Group B alongside England, Wales and Iran. With the Three Lions expected to top the group, the United States will look to call upon the likes of Leeds stalwarts Tyler Adams and Brenden Aaronson, the exciting prospects Jesus Fereira and Gio Reyna and, of course, the talismanic Christian Pulisic to lead them into the knockout phase.
