How to watch the World Cup on TV and live stream in Canada

Canada have qualified for the World Cup for just the second time in their entire history, having not featured since their maiden appearance in 1986.
This winter, they'll be hopeful of bettering their group-stage dumping after three defeats at Mexico '86, heading to Qatar with great optimism for their footballing future.
The future starts now, and Canadian fans will be able to witness their country's progress at the 2022 World Cup from home, with the tournament being broadcasted on The Sports Network and live-streamed on a couple of platforms in the region.

The Sports Network
The Sports Network (TNS) is the largest speciality channel in Canada in terms of gross revenue, owning rights to the Canadian Football League, the National Basketball Association, Major League Soccer (including exclusive rights to Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps) and Canadian rights to the National Football League, Formula One and Grand Slam tennis tournaments among others. They also have acquired Canadian rights to the 2022 World Cup.
James Duthie will anchor TNS' coverage of the World Cup while being joined by some familiar names in the studio, welcoming the likes of former Scotland international Steven Caldwell, former Ireland midfielder Kevin Kilbane and ex-Canada skipper Julian De Guzman to the panel.

Canada 2022 World Cup games on TV
Canada's journey to Qatar started in CONCACAF's first qualifying round, having missed out on automatic qualification to the third as a result of being outside of the continent's five highest-ranked nations.
They sailed through the first two rounds, though, winning all four games in their first-round group (with a goal difference of 26) before getting to the third round courtesy of a 4-0 aggregate victory over Haiti in the second-round play-off.
Despite coming into the qualification process ranked seventh in North America, the Canadians dominated qualification in CONCACAF, topping the group courtesy of 28 points from their 14 fixtures and a superior goal difference to second-placed Mexico.
Off the back of their impressive qualification campaign, John Herdman's men now face Belgium, Morocco and Croatia in an intriguing World Cup group.
Alongside a reliable core consisting of the likes of Atiba Hutchinson and Milan Borjan, Canada will gaze with hopeful eyes at young stars like Jonathan David and most of all Alphonso Davies, whose quality will certainly be integral to any success Herdman's side achieves.
