How many trophies has Pep Guardiola won?
After a glorious playing career that saw him captain his hometown club Barcelona, Pep Guardiola entered the managerial world back in 2007 as the boss of La Blaugrana's B team.
Since then, the landscape of the footballing world has changed as the Spaniard has revolutionised the way the game is played. Through four different managerial reigns with different sides, we have become accustomed to Guardiola winning no matter where he is.
So looking back through the managerial career of one of the best ever, let's tally up just many trophies he's actually won.
1. 2007/08 - Tercera Division
Guardiola's first job in management was with Barcelona B and he took to the role like a duck to water, winning the league title in his first and only season as manager.

2. 2008/09 - La Liga, Copa Del Rey, Champions League
Guardiola took on the role as manager of Barcelona's first-team after Frank Rijkaard was dismissed, and he never looked back.
His first season with the club brought about an unprecedented treble, as his academy filled side won La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the UEFA Champions League with a win over Manchester United in Rome.

3. 2009/10 - Supercopa de Espana, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA World Club Cup, La Liga
The club continued their amazing success the following year, as Guardiola made it six trophies in 2009 alone, before adding another La Liga title to his collection thanks to a then record-breaking 99 point haul to finish three points ahead of Real Madrid.

4. 2010/11 - Supercopa de Espana, La Liga, Champions League
Pep made it an astonishing four league titles in four years as a manager in 2011, but also made it two Champions League titles in three seasons with Barca when they beat Manchester United (again) at Wembley in the final.
To this day, it's regarded as one of the best ever performances in a European final.

5. 2011/12 - Supercopa de Espana, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA World Club Cup, Copa del Rey
After four years in charge of one of the biggest football club in the world, Guardiola decided he needed some time away from the game.
Before he took it, he won four more trophies including the Copa del Rey where he beat Athletic Club de Bilbao 3-0 in the final thanks to a Pedro brace and Lionel Messi's 73rd (that's not a typo) goal of the season.

6. 2013/14 - UEFA Super Cup, FIFA World Club Cup, Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal
After a year away, Guardiola returned to management as Bayern Munich manager following Jupp Heynckes' incredible treble-winning season at the club.
Not to be shown up, Pep won four trophies in his first season including a league and cup double. They won the league by 19 points and beat Dortmund in extra-time to win the cup. Lovely stuff.

7. 2014/15 - Bundesliga
One of only two seasons in his career in which Guardiola hasn't won at least two trophies, Bayern were disappointed to *only* win the Bundesliga title in 2015.
They won the title by finishing 10 points clear of Wolfsburg, but crashed out in the semi-finals of the DBF-Pokal to Dortmund while also losing the German Super Cup to Dortmund too. Their Champions League campaign also ended in the semi-finals as an 'MSN' inspired Barcelona won the competition.

8. 2015/16 - Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal
Guardiola managed to get his own back the following season as he made it three Bundesliga titles in as many seasons and beat Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal final on penalties.
The Champions League saw them reach the semi-finals again, only to be knocked out on away goals by Atletico Madrid.

9. 2016/17 - 0
The first season in which Pep didn't win a trophy was actually his first in England.
He left Bayern for Manchester City and despite their billions, he failed to find instant success.

10. 2017/18 - EFL Cup, Premier League
Pep and City bounced back from that initial disappointment to win the double in his second season, as Guardiola's love affair with the EFL Cup began with a 3-0 win over Arsenal in the final.
His side then earned their 'Centurions' tag as they hit 100 points in the Premier League.

11. 2018/19 - Community Shield, EFL Cup, FA Cup, Premier League
Now in the conversation as one of the best Premier League sides ever, City made it back-to-back titles as they pipped Liverpool to the title in one of the greatest title races ever - ending the season with 98 points.
They added another Carabao Cup to their haul as well as an FA Cup with a 6-0 win in the final over Watford to complete a domestic treble.

12. 2019/20 - Community Shield, EFL Cup
In a season that will largely be remembered for the COVID-19 break and Liverpool's dominance, Guardiola ensured he didn't end it trophyless after beating Aston Villa at Wembley to win the EFL Cup for a third time in a row.

13. 2020/21 - EFL Cup
As the current campaign winds down, Guardiola has already added to his trophy haul with an unprecedented fourth successive Carabao Cup.
Aymeric Laporte scored the only goal of the game as they beat Tottenham at Wembley behind-closed-doors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
