Hertha BSC 2-5 Borussia Dortmund: Player Ratings as Rampant Haaland Scores Four

Is there anything that Erling Haaland can't do?

The answer to that is most probably no, and that was evident once more as Borussia Dortmund brushed aside Hertha BSC with a resounding 5-2 win.

Lucien Favre's charges were a goal down at half-time, but in typical BVB fashion, they came storming out of the blocks after the break to blow away their hosts with a dominating second half display. Haaland scored four, Raphael Guerreiro got on the scoresheet and the world of football got to feast their eyes on 16 years and one day old Youssoufa Moukoko - a Bundesliga record-breaker and bona fide star of the future.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Roman Burki (GK) - 6/10 - Didn't have a great deal to do, and stood no chance with either of the goals.

Emre Can (CB) - 5/10 - Didn't do enough in the air for Hertha's first goal, though you can't really legislate for Cunha's stunning long-range effort. Neat little assist for Haaland's opener.

Mats Hummels (CB) - 6/10 - Not at his commanding best, but did enough to remind us why he's still one of the Bundesliga's best.

Manuel Akanji (CB) - 6/10 - Another solid, dependable performance. Will have tougher evenings ahead, but may feel he could have closed down better for Hertha's opening goal.

2. Wing-Backs & Midfielders

Thomas Meunier (RWB) - 7/10 - Things Meunier is good at? Going forward. Things Meunier is not so good at? Tracking back. Meh, you win some and you lose some at Dortmund, and the Belgian is worth piling forward.

Axel Witsel (CM) - 6/10 - Steady but unspectacular in midfield, Witsel always has an aura of control about him.

Mahmoud Dahoud (CM) - 6/10 - Not Dahoud's finest hour for Dortmund, though things had turned around before he was replaced by Bellingham.

Raphael Guerreiro (LWB) - 8/10 - Capable of playing at a higher level, it would be a shame if Guerreiro doesn't test himself elsewhere before it's too late. Very assured, as per.

3. Forwards

Marco Reus (RF) - 6/10 - A pretty quiet evening for BVB's skipper, but that's hardly surprising when you're playing alongside the 2020 Golden Boy.

Erling Haaland (ST) - 10/10 - Outstanding in everything he does, Haaland continues to go from strength to strength. Has raw pace, power, tremendous reading of the game and wonderful finishing ability. So, SO good.

Julian Brandt (LF) 7/10 - Wasn't great in the first half, but came to life as Dortmund got back into the game early in the second half. Lovely reverse ball for Haaland got BVB in front.

4. Substitutes

Jude Bellingham - 7/10 - A lovely little assist for Bellingham capped an impressive half-hour cameo. Ready for more action, that's for sure.
