While it would be completely adequate to simply fill this article with 300 'haha's', it unfortunately doesn't quite provide enough context.

But, honestly, that would be a fitting way to describe what Rune Jarstein did against RB Leipzig during Hertha Berlin's away trip on Wednesday evening.

We've lost all the atmosphere of football since it has resumed in the Bundesliga, but don't in any way think the lack of supporters in the stadium has resulted in a dip in the entertainment factor, because Jarstein has produced an absolute side-splitter.

In terms of the season as a whole, Leipzig are chasing an unlikely title this season, meanwhile Hertha have struggled massively and disappointed a fair few people, with their rather substantial summer spending proving to be wasted money.

It's difficult to quite comprehend just what Jarstein did against Leipzig, as with his side taking a surprise lead, only to be brought back level but then gain the advantage of the home side having a man sent off, it looked like being their day.

Trying to push forward in search of a winner, Hertha lost the ball in the centre of the park. Yet, even at this point, they looked well placed to defend the attack. Leipzig were very narrow, and in order for them to score they'd need substitute Patrik Schick to score something of a worldie while surrounded by defenders and with little room to manoeuvre.

He did have a shot in the end. Finding the space to pull the trigger, he had a pop. What I will say is that he hit it fairly hard, but that is where the excuses stop for Jarstein.

Getting his body behind the effort, all looked well. It did just squeeze through his hands and onto his face, but at this point the ball was going away from the goal and would be easy to collect.

However, he clearly stocked up on Red Bull in the changing room as he seemed to enter panic mode. Like a cat chasing a laser pen, as soon as he opens his eyes to makes a wild movement, pushing the ball behind himself and into his own net.

He's had an absolute mare, but he's actually (sort of) got away with it, as Hertha scored a late penalty to salvage a draw in the game.
