Graham Potter will oversee his first Premier League home game as Chelsea manager when Wolves come to town on Saturday.

Ahead of the game, the boss spoke to the media to offer updates on injuries to Wesley Fofana and N'Golo Kante, before looking ahead to this weekend's tricky fixture.

Here's the highlights of Potter's press conference.

Wesley Fofana

Any injury updates?

"From the other night, Wesley's knee is not as bad as we thought, so that's good. After the game, of course you're concerned, but it'll be a few weeks I think.

"Considerably better than it could be, but we'll miss him for a few weeks."

So you might see him play again before the World Cup?

"Yeah, that's a possibility. Depends on how his rehab goes. I wouldn't want to put too much of a timescale on it, but there's a chance of that."

Is it just a knee strain?

"Yep."

Diego Costa's return to Chelsea

He's not the player he used to be, but do you still have to fear him if he's involved?

"We have a lot of respect for him, his career, for what he's achieved. He's a Wolves player and he's going to come and be ready to play.

"Everybody at this club knows how good he has been. I've followed his career from afar and I have huge respect for him and what he's achieved as a player, so he's one of lots of attacking players that can hurt you. We have to be ready."

He didn't leave in the best way, do you think he'll get a good reception?

"I'm not sure. I'd hope so. When players have achieved something at a club, you always hope that, but that's not for me to decide of course, I'm focusing on our team.

"I thought the support the other night was fantastic and we're hopefully building on that."

N'Golo Kante

Any updates?

"He's doing more and more integration with the team. Still not ready for the weekend, but getting closer."

How frustrating is it for Kante to still be out?

"It is what it is. There's nothing we can do. The injury happened and now it's about trying to get him back fit, getting him as ready as we can so he can sustain a period of play.

"He's been a bit in-and-out with injuries over a period of time so we have to make sure that, when he's back, he's back for good, strong and enjoying his football.

"There's no frustration from my perspective, it's just something you have to deal with."

It seems like you won't play him until he's absolutely ready?

"That's correct, yeah."

Is that because of his injury history?

"The welfare of the player is important, I don't want to take a risk with that. I understand you have to take some decisions, but from my perspective, I want to make sure the player is safe, ready, ready to play consistently. I think that's the best way to build relationships with them and get them back strong and enjoying their football."
