Serie A leaders Juventus can move one step closer to a ninth successive Scudetto when they travel to struggling Genoa.

I Bianconeri are closing on the title after thrashing Lecce 4-0 at the Allianz Stadium, opening up a four-point gap over Lazio, who slipped to defeat at Atalanta last week before scraping past Fiorentina.

Genoa, meanwhile, are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table, with a point against Brescia last time out leaving them just one point above the relegation zone.

Team News

Holding midfielder Ivan Radovanovic is out of action for Genoa with a serious knee injury, while left-back Domenico Criscito will miss the match with a tendon problem.

Paraguayan forward Antonio Sanabria is also a doubt with muscle fatigue.

Juventus will be without Alex Sandro because of a knee injury, while Giorgio Chiellini is still recovering from knee surgery - leaving Matthijs de Ligt and Leonardo Bonucci to continue their partnership in central defence.

Matteo De Sciglio and Sami Khedira are also out because of thigh injuries, and Merih Demiral - who has resumed light training after rupturing his cruciate knee ligament - remains sidelined.

Genoa were in good touch before the enforced coronavirus hiatus, beating Cagliari, Bologna and AC Milan within the space of four games. The only game they didn't win was against high-flying Lazio, and even then they were only defeated narrowly - losing 3-2 to the would-be title challengers.

Since returning to action, they've not been so hot - only picking up a point against Brescia after being stuffed at home by Parma.

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has come under scrutiny for his Coppa Italia shortcomings, yet I Bianconeri remain a force to be reckoned with in Serie A. The Old Lady have won three of their last five in all competitions, and victory on Tuesday night would make it six league wins in a row.

In Giorgio Chiellini's absence, Matthijs de Ligt and Leonardo Bonucci have formed a strong pairing at the heart of the Juve defence. The duo's defensive efforts have helped the side earn four clean sheets in their last five games.

A Genoa side struggling for confidence will find it difficult to penetrate Juve's back four. Cristiano Ronaldo has a pair of goals in Juve's last two games, while Paulo Dybala is also in good touch. A difficult night for the home side awaits.
