Antonio Conte's Inter are expected to get back to winning ways when they face relegation-threatened Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Saturday evening.

Il Biscione's draw with Fiorentina on Wednesday effectively handed Juventus the title, with the Old Lady only needing a win against Udinese to secure their ninth straight Scudetto. Inter's title challenge has effectively been over for a while though, with inconsistent results proving to be their undoing. That has very much been the case since the restart, drawing four out of ten games played.

Genoa's 2-1 defeat of Lecce on Sunday was perhaps their most important result of the season, even more so than their derby victory over Sampdoria on Wednesday. Davide Nicola's side are now four points ahead of I Salentini in 18th place and, with just three games left, they'll be confident of securing another season in Serie A.

Conte isn't expecting Stefano Sensi to return to action for Inter until the season finale or their Europa League clash with Getafe in August, while Matias Vecino's season is likely over after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.

Genoa will have to make do without Ivan Radovanovic and Antonio Sanabria, while it is unknown whether Stefano Sturaro or Francesco Cassata will be available, as the pair have missed out on some of Il Grifone's recent games.

Predicted Lineups

Genoa: Perin; Biraschi, Romero, Masiello, Criscito; Falque, Lerager, Schone, Jagiello; Pinamonti, Pandev.

Inter: Handanovic; de Vrij, Skriniar, Godin; Candreva, Brozovic, Barella, Young; Eriksen; Lukaku, Martinez.

Inter are unbeaten in their last five games but have drawn on three occasions, including in winnable matches against Hellas Verona and Fiorentina, while the two victories were over bottom-half sides Torino and SPAL. Overall, they go into Saturday's game with five wins, four draws and one defeat since the restart in June.

Relegation-threatened Genoa are on a good run, winning three of their last five games including a Derby della Lanterna victory over Sampdoria, a feat they hadn't achieved for over four years. Since the restart, they have won three, drawn two and lost four.

Here are the results from their last five games.

Genoa

Sampdoria 1-2 Genoa (22/7)
Genoa 2-1 Lecce (19/7)
Torino 3-0 Genoa (16/7)
Genoa 2-0 SPAL (12/7)
Genoa 1-2 Napoli (8/7)

Inter

Inter 0-0 Fiorentina (22/7)
Roma 2-2 Inter (19/7)
SPAL 0-4 Inter (16/7)
Inter 3-1 Torino (13/7)
Hellas Verona 2-2 Inter (9/7)

Prediction

Anything less than three points would be another humiliation for Inter

On paper, Conte's side should be able to easily outclass a Genoa team, who, in truth, have been dreadful for most of the season. This is Inter however, and they've been known to drop points in perfectly winnable games this season.

Prediction: Genoa 1-3 Inter
