Barcelona winger Fridolina Rolfo has signed a new long-term contract that will keep her at the club until the summer of 2026.

The Swede’s contract she signed upon joining Barça from Wolfsburg was due to expire this year.

Rolfo helped Barcelona to another Spanish league title last season, as well as Copa de la Reina success and another Champions League final – which they lost to Lyon.

In addition to playing high on the left, Rolfo’s versatility has been a great asset to Barcelona, having filled in at left-back a number of times over the last 18 months.

Barça recently secured new deals for fellow Scandinavians Caroline Graham Hansen and Ingrid Engem, with the Norwegian pair penning new three and two-year contracts respectively.

Rolfo started Wednesday night’s 7-0 Liga F win over Levante Las Planas, getting an assist before making way for Mariona Caldentey at half-time.

The game marked an incredible 50th consecutive Liga F win for Barcelona. The Catalans have taken maximum points in every single league game they have played since Atletico Madrid edged a seven-goal thriller way back in June 2021.

In fact, Barcelona have never not won a Liga F game since Rolfo arrived.
