New images of Manchester United's home strip for the 2020/21 campaign have emerged online as the club prepares for its release.

The kit initially drew plenty of criticism when designs were first leaked back in March, with fans blasting its 'bus seat' feel as a result of the prominent pattern of black and yellow vertical dashes down the front of the shirt.

But the new 'final' design appears to have gone a treat with supporters, with the subtle horizontal accents which appear on the shirt certainly more subtle than first feared.

The 20/21 adidas kit is - unsurprisingly - predominantly red with white logos. The three stripes, placed on the shoulders of the shirt, are also white while the Chevrolet logo remains as the club's official sponsor for one more season.

The primary choice for shorts and socks for United's fresh home strip, meanwhile, will both be white, although it would not be shocking to see the club use black socks frequently as well.

After persistently providing the Red Devil faithful with updated designs and leaks in recent months, the oh so reliable Footy Headlines have now supplied official pictures of United's home kit for next season - images which are set to be used on the Adidas website following the strip's release.

It's understood the kit may first appear in United's Europa League clash with LASK on 5 August, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side holding a 5-0 advantage heading into the second leg at Old Trafford.

Many clubs finished the Premier League season wearing their new kits but there has been no indication of when United's new strips will be released.

While the home kit appears to be a winner, the 'legacy green' away strip and its snakeskin-like pattern has proved more divisive.

The club's new training kit, meanwhile, was leaked on their American website at the start of June.
