Franck Kessie is interested in moving to Barcelona on a free transfer when his Milan contract expires at the end of the season.
Kessie has been in terrific form for the Rossoneri over the past few years, barely missing a game as his side have returned to their rightful place in the Serie A title discussion.
However, despite Milan being desperate to extend his deal beyond the summer, the midfielder is widely expected to depart the club. Interest in Kessie is rife with Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain among the names mentioned as potential destinations.
According to Marca, Barça are also tracking his situation. They report that Kessie would be 'interested' in the move too.
The Blaugrana began a rebuilding process last summer and continued to reshape their squad in January, bringing in the likes of Eric Garcia, Memphis Depay, Ferran Torres and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
President Joan Laporta has publicly stated that the club will be ploughing on with this recruitment drive in the summer too, with Erling Haaland being strongly linked with a Camp Nou switch.
They do not just want to strengthen up front though, and this is where Kessie could come in. Youngsters Gavi and Pedri are likely to play important midfield roles for the club over the coming decade, but there are doubts over Frenkie de Jong's future and Sergio Busquets is not getting any younger.
