After beating Belgium in the best game of the 2021/22 season so far, France will face off against Spain in the UEFA Nations League final this Sunday.

Les Bleus were two down at half-time in the Nations League semi final tie, before Kylian Mbappe inspired a dramatic second half comeback to lead his country to a famous 3-2 win.

Next up is the Spain team who bested Italy in their semi-final.

And here's how France could line up for the game:

Hugo Lloris (GK) - Made an utterly ridiculous save early in the semi-final. He's the captain and a surefire starter.

Jules Kounde (CB) - Clearly very talented, although he looked nervy at times against Belgium.

Raphael Varane (CB) - The best of the back three, the Manchester United man is a natural born winner.

Lucas Hernandez (CB) - Has managed to stay fit all season, which is a minor miracle, and has been brilliant for Bayern. Deschamps will be expecting a similar performance for the national team on Sunday.

2. Midfielders & wing-backs

Benjamin Pavard (RWB) - Very, very good going forward; not so good defensively. Needs to be more switched on than he was on Thursday evening.

Paul Pogba (CM) - He's always outstanding for France, isn't he? Brilliant player.

Aurelien Tchouameni (CM) - The talk of Europe due to his recent performances for Monaco, Tchouameni will replace Adrien Rabiot in the starting XI after the Juventus man contracted COVID.

Antoine Griezmann (AM) - Had his moments against Belgium. Finally starting to look like the Griezmann of old again.

Theo Hernandez (LWB) - Scored a wonderful late winner on Thursday evening, and will rightfully keep his place in the starting lineup.

3. Forwards

Kylian Mbappe (ST) - The French superstar hasn't actually been that good for PSG this season (mainly because he doesn't want to be there), but he was so good for France on Thursday. Completely unstoppable at his best.

Karim Benzema (ST) - Arguably the most in-form footballer on the planet right now. Scoring and assisting goals for fun.
