France predicted lineup vs Hungary - Euro 2020

France continue their Euro 2020 campaign on Saturday afternoon as they take on Hungary in Group F.

Les Bleus began their journey in splendid fashion, putting in a wonderfully resilient performance to pick up a 1-0 victory over Germany in Munich, courtesy of Mats Hummels' first half own goal. A win on Saturday would almost guarantee their passage into the knockout stages of the tournament.

But they face a Hungary side who are no pushovers. Despite a 3-0 loss to Portugal in their opening fixture, Marco Rossi's side showed a lot of grit and determination, keeping the Portuguese out for 84 minutes and even having a goal disallowed beforehand.

So, to calmly set their sights firmly on the round of 16, here's the France lineup that should start against Hungary.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - The captain will undoubtedly remain between the sticks, looking to make his 125th cap for Les Bleus.

Banjamin Pavard (RB) - Was left unconscious during the Germany match, taking Robin Gosens' knee to the head but did carry on. If he's feeling up to starting, he'll carry on providing a creative danger up the right.

Rapahel Varane (CB) - A fantastic performance on Tuesday earns him another start against Hungary - 15 defensive interventions, wow.

Presnel Kimpembe (CB) - Developing into a brilliant partner for Varane and looks solid when faced with his opponents. A sure starter for Les Bleus these days.

Lucas Hernandez (LB) - Some called into question his attacking output when playing as a full-back, but he got up the left flank fantastically on Tuesday and forced the opener with a volleyed cross.

2. Midfielders

N'Golo Kante (DM) - There is no way this man doesn't start at the heart of the midfield trio. His inexhaustible resource of energy is key to how Didier Deschamps' men play.

Paul Pogba (CM) - Absolutely imperious against Germany, making literally everything he did look naturally easy - he walks into the France side.

Corentin Tolisso (CM) - Tolisso seemed to be Deschamps' favoured option on the left of midfield before the tournament started and, with Adrien Rabiot running out of legs on Tuesday, the Bayern man may return.

3. Forwards

Antoine Griezmann (RW) - He'll float around once more and inject a zing of creativity in the final third. We doubt he'll have to play right back in this one...

Karim Benzema (ST) - Still no goal for the Real Madrid ace on his return to the international scene, although it's just a matter of time. What an opportunity to notch a couple this time around.

Kylain Mbappe (LW) - Gave us glimpses of the genius he possesses against Germany and, with admittedly inferior defensive opposition on Saturday, we could see the best out of him.
