France has produced some of the greatest footballers the world has ever seen over the last 70 years, spanning four Golden Generations - from the 1950s, to the 1980s, to the 1990s/2000s, to the present day.

Here's a look at the 30 top scorers in the history of the France national football team...


30. Bernard Lacombe

France Appearances: 38

Bernard Lacombe starred for Lyon and Bordeaux in the 1970s and 1980s respectively, with Euro '84 his third of three tournaments with France.

29. Maryan Wisnieski

France Goals: 12

France Appearances: 33

Maryan Wisnieski was 18 at the time of his France debut in 1955, going on to play at the 1958 World Cup and inaugural 1960 European Championship.

28. Didier Six
