Edin Dzeko and Antoine Griezmann both scored as France and Bosnia & Herzegovina played out a 1-1 World Cup qualifying draw, with Jules Kounde seeing red for Les Bleus early in the second half.

The visitors took the lead just before half time when Dzeko punished Thomas Lemar for a loose pass by lashing home from outside the box.

Minutes later Dzeko turned from hero to villain, as he headed a France corner into Antoine Griezmann's back and the ball cannoned over the line.

Soon after the break the home side were reduced to ten. Kounde was the guilty man, flying into Sead Kolasinac and initially being shown a yellow card before a VAR review led to it being upgraded to a red.

Despite having a one man advantage, Bosnia and Herzegovina did not dominate the ball with France carving out the better chances following the sending off. In the end they had to settle for a third successive draw on French soil.

Here are your France player ratings from the game...

France player ratings

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Hugo Lloris (GK) - 6/10 - Made one smart stop from a Miralem Pjanic free kick but was well beaten for Dzeko's opener.

Jules Kounde (RB) - 3/10 - Left his side in the lurch with a dangerous and unnecessary lunge. This capped off a frustrating few days with his prospective move to Chelsea falling through at the last moment.

Raphael Varane (CB) - 7/10 - Composed and assured in possession, barely misplacing a pass all evening. Marshalled the defence well when France went down to ten men.

Presnel Kimpembe (CB) - 6/10 - Spotless passing. He was not tested all that often but was reliable when called upon in defence.

Lucas Digne (LB) - 6/10 - Defended extremely well, winning the majority of his duels both on the ground and in the air. Could have been more accurate when crossing.

2. Midfielders

Paul Pogba (CM) - 7/10 - Caught the eye with some inch-perfect long passes and probing through balls. His side's most potent midfield creator.

Jordan Veretout (CM) - 6/10 -
Struggled to shackle Pjanic in midfield at times, committing a few fouls. Largely, he did pretty well on his debut. Only replaced at after half time as he was in danger of picking up a second yellow card.

Thomas Lemar (CM) - 4/10 -
His lazy pass led to Dzeko opening the scoring. He did not look comfortable in an unfamiliar role and was hooked at half time.

3. Forwards

Antoine Griezmann (RW) - 7/10 - Knew nothing about the goal but they all count and it was a vital strike for his side. Quiet after that but did not get much service.

Karim Benzema (ST) - 7/10 - Led the line pretty well, linking things effectively. Carved out several chances for those running ahead of him, finishing the game with two key passes.

Kylian Mbappe (LW) - 5/10 - Occasionally wasteful in all honesty but his runs in behind tested the opposition. Still failing to click with Benzema and Griezmann.

4. Substitutes

Aurelien Tchouameni - 7/10 - Looked far better than Lamar in midfield. Should have started. A great debut.

Leo Dubois - 6/10 - Solid but unspectacular.

Kingsley Coman - 5/10 - Failed to have an impact.

Anthony Martial - 5/10 - Quiet. Conceded a needless free kick in the dying moments which could have been fatal.

Moussa Diaby - 6/10 - Another debutant.
