The football keeps coming and coming, and we've got a whole slate of midweek Premier League fixtures to devour over the next few days.

There are a few things to sort out, especially if you've got Kevin De Bruyne in your team.

It's been a chaotic FPL season so far with cancellations all over the place, but let's see if we can help you out a little before gameweek 20 kicks off on Tuesday.

With 95 points, De Bruyne is behind only Bruno Fernandes, Son Heung-min, Mohamed Salah and Jack Grealish among the top scoring FPL midfielders.

The good thing is only Salah is pricier than KDB, leaving every other midfielder available to managers needing a replacement. Fernandes is the obvious shout, with games against Sheffield United, Arsenal, Southampton and Everton coming up, though you may be just as well served by plucking another player from City's ranks.

Ilkay Gundogan has five goals in his last seven league appearances, with City coming up against West Brom, Sheffield United and Burnley in the coming weeks. He's cheap at £5.6, too, and there's the possibility of a potential double gameweek for City in GW24 or GW26.

Others to consider include James Maddison, who's delivered attacking returns in the last three gameweeks, Paul Pogba, who's putting in better performances at United every week, and Aston Villa's Bertrand Traore, who has gone under the radar recently with his four goals in six games.

Will Marcus Rashford be fit?

Rashford had to be replaced during Manchester United's FA Cup victory over Liverpool. Solskjaer said he is hopeful the England international will be available.

Speaking after the game, the United boss said: “Marcus felt his knee but we'll have to do a scan. Hopefully, it's not too bad but we'll see.”

You would expect Rashford to be given the night off and the likes of Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood to fill the wide positions with Edinson Cavani up front. Might be best to avoid him or get him out this week.

FPL tips for gameweek 20

There are a few specific games in midweek that might be worth targeting.

Newcastle are in dire form, and while their clash with Leeds might not be the most high-scoring given the similar struggles in front of goal for Marcelo Bielsa's side, a player like Jack Harrison or Raphinha may prove a shrewd incoming transfer.

Michail Antonio has two goals in two games and may be worth a punt before his West Ham side visit Crystal Palace, while Brighton's Neal Maupay and West Brom's Callum Robinson were among the top scorers in GW19.

At the back, owners of Manchester City and Leicester defenders will have been jumping for joy last week. As well as scoring twice, John Stones kept two clean sheets, as did the likes of Matt Targett - subbed off before City scored late on - Ruben Dias, Jonny Evans, James Justin, Timothy Castagne and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Captaincy picks

It's got to be Bruno Fernandes, right? United host Sheffield United and it's exactly the kind of game the Portugal international usually registers double digit returns in.

Away from Old Trafford, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min owners may fancy Tottenham's chances against Liverpool, though the Reds have been a massive bogey side for Spurs in recent years. Alternatively, someone like Danny Ings, whose Southampton side host Arsenal, may be a decent shout.
