FPL managers generally avoid making goalkeeper transfers but plenty will be forced to do so this week.

With recent injuries to Alisson and Nick Pope, popular budget option Alphonse Areola out of form and Matt Turner losing his place, due attention needs to be paid to the best shot-stoppers to pick in Gameweek 15.

Here are the best goalie options for FPL Gameweek 15, picked in conjunction with Fantasy Football Hub's powerful AI Points Predictions tool.

Best goalkeepers for FPL Gameweek 15

David Raya

  • Fixture: Luton (A); Predicted Points: 4.3

Arsenal have the best defensive record in the Premier League this season, conceding just 11 goals and keeping a division-high six clean sheets. David Raya has been the man between the sticks for four of those shut-outs and should be considered a key pick.

While rotation can impact most of Arsenal's back-line bar William Saliba, Raya provides a trusted route into the Gunners defence each week. They have a good chance of a clean sheet on Tuesday against Luton Town.

Martin Dubravka

  • Fixture: Everton (A); Predicted Points: 4.1

With Nick Pope's injury ruling him out for months, fellow Newcastle stopper Martin Dubravka is already a popular transfer in, helped by his favourable price tag of just £3.9m. Along with Arsenal, the Magpies have kept a leading six shut-outs this season.

Pope will be a big loss in Newcastle's goal but defensive injuries haven't impacted their clean sheet rate in recent weeks. Dubravka has proven pedigree in the Premier League, keeping 11 clean sheets in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons.

Ederson

  • Fixture: Aston Villa (A); Predicted Points: 4.1

For those fantasy managers who were prepared to spend big on Pope or Alisson, the other alternative at this price point is Manchester City's Ederson. He is the most owned first choice goalkeeper in the game, keeping four clean sheets this season.

Once City face Aston Villa this midweek, their fixtures turn for the better with Luton, Crystal Palace, Everton and Sheffield United during the festive period. Just be mindful that you'll need your backup goalkeeper in Gameweek 18 when City blank for the Club World Cup.
